Frequently Asked Questions
At the start of your service, a registered nurse or certified care manager will provide a professional evaluation of needs. This will help you decide what services your caregiver will perform.
Services include assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal care; medication reminders; post-discharge care; nutrition and safety; care for the memory impaired; meal preparation, shopping, errands; light housekeeping, laundry; transport to doctor appointments; and much more.
No, but if you need these types of additional services, our Care Management division can provide a full range of professional care management services.
Caregivers provide meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry. In many cases, that’s all that’s needed; however, if heavy cleaning is required, we can help locate a reputable and affordable cleaning company.
Our Service Coordinators will make every effort to have an aide available within the shortest reasonable time. We are usually able to have staff in place the next day, or even the same day if needed.
Our diverse pool of Caregivers includes only trained, experienced, screened, licensed and insured professionals. Our rigorous screening process meets or exceeds the requirements of Florida state law and regulations established by the Agency for Healthcare Administration. Screenings include: confirmation of CNA/Home Health Aide licensure or certification; work history and reference check; health screening/free of communicable diseases; US citizen or legally eligible to work in the US; documentation of required training and certifications; individual liability insurance policy; FBI Level 2 criminal record check.
At Senior Partner Care Services, we know that Caregiver/Client compatibility is key to achieving our goal of total client satisfaction. Should a personality conflict arise, contact our office immediately and our service coordinators will promptly find a more suitable caregiver to fulfill your needs.
Yes, we accept virtually all Long Term Care insurance and will bill them directly on your behalf. However, each Long Term Care policy is different and may have requirements that must be met before the insurance company will approve and pay for care. We will assist in contacting your provider to review what your policy covers, and we can help you understand how to maximize the benefits you receive. You should know that some insurance policies have limits on the benefits they will pay, and you remain ultimately responsible for the payment of our invoices in the event your carrier does not pay the entire bill.
Rates are based on the type of services you require and the rate requested by the caregiver who is providing the services to you. You may contact our office at 321-323-7360 and a Service Coordinator will assist you to determine the level of care needed. Click here for “6 Ways to Pay for In-Home Senior Care”.
