What is One Senior Place?
One Senior Place is the first and still only business of its kind… a one-stop resource office and shopping center that provides information, counseling, referrals, events, and direct access to independent providers of senior products and services… all under one roof.
One Senior Place opened its doors in Viera, FL in March 2006. After six successful years in Brevard County, One Senior Place began serving seniors in Greater Orlando in November 2011, with the opening of its second location in Altamonte Springs, FL. Since its inception, One Senior Place has received a great deal of recognition and media attention from the local to national level. By the end of its first year, One Senior Place had been named one of the “50 Most Influential Businesses in Brevard” by Space Coast Business Magazine and CEO Don Kramer had been singled out in Florida Trend Magazine’s Annual Economic
Year book issue as “one of the innovators who are driving Florida’s economy.” In 2007, the Space Coast Economic Development Commission nominated One Senior Place for the Governor’s Business Diversification Award in the Entrepreneurship categorylate 2007, Enterprise Florida selected One Senior Place to receive the Governor’s Business Diversification Award. One Senior Place was recognized in 2008 when Kramer was named US Small Business Administration’s Small Business Person of the Year for the state of Florida in a reception hosted by President George W. Bush at the White House.
