Edgardo A. Hernández Pons, MD, is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician. Dr. Pons earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He earned a Medical Degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Dr. Hernandez Pons completed a residency in Internal Medicine from the Mayaguez Medical Center in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

Dr. Hernández Pons prides himself on being a direct, honest, and approachable physician, with effective communications capabilities with doctors, medical teams, patients, and their families. He is respectful of principles, and sensitive to multicultural backgrounds of individuals in a patient-centered environment. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
