“There are so many benefits to lifelong learning and keeping our brains stimulated,” said Ridner.  “The brain responds positively to enriching mental activities, which help retain mental alertness. Scientists have discovered that, regardless of age, the brain can grow new connections and pathways when challenged and stimulated.”

The educational series will be hosted by a different Brevard senior living community or resource provider every second and fourth Thursday at 2:00 PM.  The event is just one of dozens of events presented annually by One Senior Place, a marketplace for resources and provider of information, advice, care and on-site services for seniors and their families.  More information about One Senior Place is available at www.OneSeniorPlace.com.
