A global pandemic. Record unemployment. A divisive national election. Each of these is capable of adversely affecting our mental health. Together, they are chipping away at our psychological well being and quality of life.  Enter, the Mental Health Task Force of Suntree United Methodist Church, a Central Florida leader in mental health awareness and advocacy. The group will hold a Virtual Mental Health Fair on Sunday, Nov.15 from 1:00 through 5:00 PM, conducted online using Zoom technology. Topics covered during four, hour-long sessions include Mental Health Wellness 101, Managing Stress vs Mental Disorders, Understanding Addiction and Mental Illness & Criminal Justice. The public is invited to attend any or all of the free virtual sessions, designed to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and offer hope and help for persons with mental health conditions.
