Get ready for a pair of frightfully good concerts, when the Melbourne Community Orchestra under Maestro Mark Nelson presents Trick or Treat on MCO Street at 7:30 PM on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, October 23 and 24 at the Melbourne Auditorium at 625 Hibiscus Boulevard, 32901.

The spooky concert lineup planned for Trick or Treat on MCO Street includes favorites many concertgoers will recognize from TV and movies. Selections include: The Alfred Hitchcock Presents theme, “Funeral March of a Marionette,” the suite from the movie Jaws and “Tunes that go Bump in the Night,” a comical ride through Halloween. The orchestra will summon goosebumps with “Spooktacular,” a salute to horror movie composer Danny Elfman, the “Dies Irae” from Verdi’s Requiem Mass for the dead, and selections from the hit musical, Wicked. More eerie compositions await the bravest audience members.

Admission to the concert is FREE, with no tickets required. Some members of the orchestra will be attired in their Halloween best, and the audience is likewise invited to dress in costume.
