The next generation of exceptionally talented performers can be heard during Music on the River, the Cocoa Beach concert series featuring rising musical stars. At 3:30 PM on Sunday, November 24, the public is invited to an afternoon of free music at First United Methodist Church of Cocoa Beach, at 3300 N. Atlantic Avenue (A1A) in Cocoa Beach.

The program will feature seven outstanding young musicians, including 17-year-old and 14-year-old saxophonist brothers, Michael and Marlin Rhodeman; 10-year-old violinist Caroline Perlee, 16-year-old clarinetist Max Reed, 17-year-old pianist Mircea-David Kelvin Silaghi, 16-year-old vocalist Natalie Mastali and a special guest performance by CAFOB alum, 21-year-old vocalist Hunter Curry. The program will feature music from various musical periods by composers that include Brahms, Chopin, Handel and Schubert. The audience can also expect to hear a number of pop and Broadway tunes.

The concert is free, with a suggested donation of $10. Music on the River concerts are courtesy of a partnership between the Creative Arts Foundation of Brevard, First United Methodist Church of Cocoa Beach and the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra.  Each Music on the River performance is entirely produced by the aspiring youngsters. The non-profit Creative Arts Foundation of Brevard is dedicated to supporting exceptionally talented young performers through grants, tuition assistance and performance opportunities.
