Say “Ja” to Oktoberfest in Suntree

Advent Lutheran Church presents free fun for the whole family.  Get out your dirndl and lederhosen — it’s time for Oktoberfest in Suntree! Advent Lutheran Church will host the popular family-focused Oktoberfest on the church grounds at 7550 North Wickham Road in Suntree on Saturday, October 26th from 11:00 AM through 2:00 PM.  The free event will include activities for the kids, including a magician, balloon animals, face painting, inflatable bounce house and obstacle course and more.  Live Oktoberfest polka music will be provided by the Festspiele Five, a German-style oompah band.  Additional musical entertainment by German-born accordionist, Klaus Kolb will entice festival-goers to sing authentic German songs.

A la carte traditional German foods and beer will be available for sale.  Free hotdogs and snow cones for children aged 10 and younger. For the duration of the event, a plated German meal will be served: $10 for adults and $4 for children 5-10 years.  Admission to the Oktoberfest is free.  More information is available on the church website at www.AdventBrevard.org or by calling (321) 259-8515.
