Before the frenzy of holiday shopping kicks into high gear, music lovers can relax with a free and informal library concert.  Space Coast Symphony Concertmaster Emeritus, Igor Markstein, along with Space Coast Symphony Concertmaster, Carey Moorman will perform at the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library in Cocoa on Sunday, December 8 at 3:00 PM.  With popular cellist Joan Markstein and Joni Roos on violin, the library will present, Holidays with the Markstein Quartet, a free concert of classical and popular holiday themed music for string quartet.  The audience can experience traditional Christmas and Chanukah music in an intimate setting, including the beautiful Sinfonia from the J.S. Bach Christmas Oratorio and the Christmas Concerto by baroque composer, Arcangelo Corelli. The free program also includes a host of other traditional holiday selections.
