Bike Week Starts With Blessing in Suntree at Advent Lutheran Church

As Bike Week in Daytona Beach revvs up, countless motorcycles and their riders will rumble through Brevard County. Some will detour past Advent Lutheran Church in Suntree for a unique “ride-through” event, Blessing of the Bikes.  On Saturday, March 7 from 10 AM until noon, those who ride through will receive a prayer for safe and joyful riding from Pastor David Jahn outside the church located at 7550 North Wickham Road in Suntree.  Jahn has been riding motorcycles since 1981 and enjoys rebuilding old bikes and riding his Honda NC700X to the church and around town.  During Blessing of the Bikes, riders of all types of motorcycles are welcome to ride through the church’s circular drive and receive a blessing. The church is located between I-95 and U.S. 1 on Wickham Road in Suntree and is also convenient to the beaches via the Pineda Causeway.
