Early birds and savvy shoppers can choose from a huge assortment of gently used goods during the annual AWESOME Rummage Sale at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic on Saturday, February 22 from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The church at 106 N. Riverside Drive will have hundreds of items for sale inside and out for folks looking for a good deal on everything from golf clubs to children’s toys.  A yearly event since the early 1990’s, the AWESOME Rummage Sale will feature house wares, linens, attic treasures, books, holiday decor, toys and games, hobby and crafting materials, fine art, numerous furniture items, jewelry and more.  A plentiful assortment of baked goods will be for sale, as will ornamental plants and a number of small trees. Event organizer, Claire Gibbs, is confident the 2020 AWESOME Rummage Sale will live up to its hard-earned reputation of three decades.

“We have a lot of donations and everything is organized beautifully,” said Gibbs.  “The annual sale has a real reputation for quality among locals. If I had to describe it in one word, I’d call it awesome!”

Proceeds from the AWESOME Rummage Sale will be used to help fund a summer trip to Puerto Rico by a church team of youth and young adults who will aid in hurricane and earthquake clean-up and recovery efforts.
