One Senior Place will help seniors who are not computer savvy

(VIERA, FL) January 19, 2021 – All Americans are now able to request free rapid COVID-19 tests sent directly to their homes. Each household in the U.S. can order up to four rapid test kits at covidtests.gov. Seniors who may not be computer savvy can call One Senior Place in Viera at 321-751-6771 for assistance with registration. The only information required is the caller’s name and mailing address. Test kits will begin shipping at the end of January.
Barbara Fradkin, Director of One Senior Place in Viera, knows that not every senior is familiar with computers.
“It’s great that four rapid tests for COVID-19 will be sent out to every household that wants them,” said Fradkin. “But anything to do with computers leaves out some seniors. That’s why we want to get the word out that all they have to do is call us and we will register them on the spot. Helping seniors is what we do.”
