Dayanara is a rare Florida native, born and raised in Miami Beach– and a Central Florida resident for 20 years. A registered nurse for nearly a decade, her background is in behavioral health, oncology and end of life care. The vulnerable patients in those disciplines hold a special place in her heart; she is also a certified chemotherapy nurse. At One Senior Place, Dayanara thoroughly enjoys building relationships with families and patients and appreciates when she is welcomed into homes to care for family members. She is most proud of her work anytime she gets a sincere thank you from a patient or family. When she’s not at work, Dayanara spends time with her biological family and foster children. Married with a six year-old daughter and toddler son, Dayanara works with the Department of Children and Families to provide a safe home for children transitioning into care. Rounding out the Roman family is a happy dog named Luna. When time permits, Dayanara enjoys reading, watching movies and baking with the kids.
