Adult Family Care Homes - What You Should Know...
What is an Adult Family Care Home?
An adult family care home provides a full-time, family-type living arrangement in a private home for up to five aged or disabled people, who are not related to the owner. The owner lives in the same house as the residents. A person can become a resident of an adult family care home only if certain functional criteria are met, such as being able to perform the activities of daily living (with supervision or assistance) like eating, walking and toileting and other care related restrictions.
