Don Kramer - CEO, Founder
One Senior Place

From its beginnings at his kitchen table in 1998, Don Kramer has seen the first company he founded grow into one of Central Florida’s largest providers of nonmedical in-home senior care. Today, Senior Partner Care Services is a subsidiary of One Senior Place, with a team of over 140 caregivers delivering nearly 6,000 hours of care each week to clients across four central Florida counties.

In 2006, Kramer opened the doors of his latest venture, a new-concept business community called One Senior Place. From its beautiful 13,000 square foot campus in Viera, Florida, One Senior Place provides area seniors and their families with a one-stop resource for information, professional advice and guidance, and direct access to a wide range of onsite senior-focused businesses.

Kramer has received a number of awards and honors related to his business activities. In 2001, he was singled out as one of Florida’s top entrepreneurs by the Florida Small Business Development Network and represented central Florida at the annual “Expo at the Capitol” in Tallahassee. In 2003, the Space Coast Economic Development Commission nominated One Senior Place for the Governor’s Business Diversification Award in the Entrepreneurship category. At the 2006 ASBDC Annual Conference, One Senior Place was selected as the only business representing the State of Florida in the nationwide “Best Client” competition. By the end of its first year, One Senior Place had been named one of the “50 Most Influential Businesses in Brevard” by Space Coast Business Magazine and Kramer had been singled out in Florida Trend Magazine’s Annual Economic Yearbook issue as “one of the innovators who are driving Florida’s economy.” In late 2007, Enterprise Florida selected One Senior Place to receive the Governor’s Business Diversification Award, and Kramer received the US Small Business Administration’s Small Business Person of the Year in 2008.

Recognizing the importance of community service, Kramer has a long record of involvement and leadership in professional and community service organizations. He is past President of Brevard Association of Human Services and has served on a number of boards including the Yellow Umbrella Child Abuse Prevention Center and the Local Leadership Council of the Alzheimer’s Association. Kramer is a cofounder of both the Seminole Health and Human Services Network and the Brevard County Elder Abuse Task Force. He currently serves on the boards of the Senior Resource Alliance and Founders Forum of Brevard.

Don and his wife and business partner Beth Kramer are long-time residents of Satellite Beach, Florida. They have three daughters.
