Alzheimer's Caregiver Training

This course is appropriate for the family caregiver and professional caregiver and meets the requirement for Assisted Living Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Level I Training and/or the required update.

CURRICULUM INCLUDES:

• Understanding Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders
• Characteristics of Alzheimer's disease
• Communicating with people with Alzheimer's disease
• Family issues - Basic techniques for coping with Alzheimer's

Cost is $10 per person

Attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion

Curriculum is approved by the Department of Elder Affairs and the Florida Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
