Staying ‘Safe at Home’ with Chronic Conditions

Seminar for senior includes accommodation solutions by expert panel

Seminar attendees at One Senior Place The Experts in Aging(VIERA, FL)  April 24, 2017 –  Senior Partner In-Home Care at One Senior Place continues its Safe at Home seminar series with a panel presentation and discussion of how chronic conditions can best be accommodated to help seniors age successfully at home. Chronic Conditions & Aging Safely at Home will be presented from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Monday, May 8 at the 8085 Spyglass Hill Road marketplace for senior resources.  Featuring representatives from Health South Sea Pines Rehabilitative Hospital, Greystone Health Network and Browning’s Pharmacy and Healthcare, Chronic Conditions & Aging Safely at Home will examine accommodative methods, strategies and devices to stabilize and strengthen seniors living at home with chronic disorders. Individual presentations will be made by Laura Leitz, Physical Therapist; Liz McKinney, Speech Therapist and Matt McQueen and Kristi Hall, Equipment Specialists.  A question and answer session will follow the panel remarks, along with the door prize presentation and refreshments.  A chronic disease is a long-term condition that generally does not get better on its own and is generally not cured completely.
